COMPATIBILITY AND AUTHORISED TESTING

A lock brand or frequency alone does not confirm compatibility.
Confirm the exact lock, encoder, issuing software/version and proposed card construction together.
Record only chip or protocol details already confirmed by the system provider or documentation.
Do not assume an NFC/NTAG label guarantees hotel-lock operation.
Agree who is authorised to use an existing sample, the test scope and sample handling before sharing it.
Common-area access, elevator access and energy-saving switches each need a separate check if required.
