Why material matters more than the chip
In a wristband the RFID chip is often the same across options — the material decides comfort, durability, waterproofing, whether the band is reusable, and cost. A one-day concert and a season-long water park need very different bands even with identical NFC chips inside.
Silicone

Closures and customization
Closure is part of the security decision: a one-time snap or slider is non-transferable (good for paid access), while adjustable and elastic closures favour comfort and reuse.
