Dual-Frequency RFID Card
Two chips, one card — bridge HF and UHF systems.
- LF 125 kHz
- HF / NFC 13.56 MHz
- UHF 860–960 MHz
- NXP MIFARE®
- Impinj
- T5577 / Hitag
A dual-frequency card embeds two RFID chips in one card — for example HF 13.56 MHz for access plus UHF 860–960 MHz for long-range identification — so a single credential works across different systems during migrations or multi-application deployments.

About Dual-Frequency RFID Card
A dual-frequency card laminates two complete chip-and-antenna systems into one CR80 body — for example T5577 at 125 kHz beside MIFARE at 13.56 MHz, or MIFARE beside a UHF chip for long-range gates. The engineering is in the antenna layout: the two circuits must be positioned and tuned so neither detunes the other, which we verify with read-range testing on every design.
Programs choose dual cards for two reasons. Migrations: staff carry one card while old LF readers are phased out for HF. Or multi-system estates: tap access at doors (HF) plus drive-through identification at car parks (UHF) without carrying two credentials. Tell us both reader systems and we will pair the right chips.

How buyers use Dual-Frequency RFID Card
Composite scenarios drawn from typical order patterns — client names withheld.
Phased reader migration
One card works legacy 125 kHz doors and new MIFARE readers simultaneously, so replacement proceeds building by building.
Campus + parking estates
HF handles doors and payments while the UHF side opens vehicle barriers from several metres.
Multi-tenant facilities
A single credential spans different landlords’ systems that were never designed to interoperate.

Frequently asked questions
Why use two frequencies?
To bridge systems — e.g. tap access (HF) and long-range gate reads (UHF) on one card.
Which chip combinations are possible?
LF+HF or HF+UHF; tell us both systems and we will match the chips.
Do the two chips interfere with each other?
Not in a properly engineered card — antenna geometry and tuning are designed together and verified by range testing. We ship samples for testing on both your systems.
Can each chip be encoded separately?
Yes — each side is encoded independently (e.g. site codes on LF, diversified keys on HF/UHF), exactly as if they were two cards.
How do you handle our encoding data and keys?
Under NDA. Keys, card numbers and encoding files are used only to produce your order, stored no longer than production requires, and deleted on request after delivery.
How many pcs do I need to order Dual-Frequency RFID Card?
The minimum is 500 pcs per run. Smaller trial batches are sometimes possible on standard specs — ask with your use case.
What is the wholesale price range for Dual-Frequency RFID Card?
Indicatively $0.10–$0.80 per pc (FOB Shenzhen). Send chip, size, artwork and quantity for an exact quote within 24 hours.
