About Magnetic Stripe Card
Magstripe remains the cheapest machine-readable card technology, and for swipe-reader estates it is still the right answer. We laminate the stripe into the card (not stick it on), encode tracks 1/2/3 to ISO 7811, and verify every card on the line. HiCo (2750 or 4000 Oe) resists accidental erasure for daily-use cards; LoCo suits short-life hotel keys and promotions.
Many buyers are mid-transition, which is where hybrid builds earn their keep: one card carrying an encoded magstripe plus a contactless chip lets old swipe readers and new tap readers coexist during upgrades. Signature panels, sequential numbering, barcodes and embossing complete the classic bank-card feature set.
